I live with my husband (whom I sometimes like) and our persnickety pug (who sometimes likes me) in N. Michigan.

I have been a liquor store manager, factory worker, and worked in retail for far too many years. Currently, I work as a librarian, bookseller, writer, content strategist, project manager, and community manager. Yes, really. Here is my CV.

On top of all this, I have a side hustle, Nerd Girl Industries, where I teach workshops on a variety of topics and help people manage their online presence. Additionally, I have a Jane Austen and Brontë empire where I post regularly about Jane Austen and the Brontës.

In addition to Jane Austen, I watch trashy TV, write on everything (a lot), read widely, drinking cider and Guinness, driving my husband crazy, and working my way through Paul Hollywood’s cookbooks.
